LAS VEGAS, July 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The new Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican North Las Vegas Campus neighborhood hospital at 1550 W. Craig Road is now officially open, bringing compassionate emergency and inpatient care to the community 24/7, 365 days a year.
The beautiful 60,000-square-foot North Las Vegas Campus began accepting patients June 26. A ribbon-cutting ceremony June 15 introduced the hospital to appreciative residents.
“With all of the projects our community is currently working on, I can tell you none is more important to our community,” North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee said at the ceremony.
The hospital will serve residents in an area in great need of improved access to quality health care, said Laura Hennum, Market CEO for Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospitals. “We are so pleased to offer the Las Vegas community much-needed, and improved, access to the very best inpatient care, primary care and wellness programs available,” she said.
The North Las Vegas Campus is the first of four new hospitals planned for the Las Vegas Valley this year through a joint venture partnership of Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican and Emerus Holdings Inc., which specializes in the design, build and management of value-based micro-hospitals that offer a broad range of evolving coordinated care options, in conjunction with its partners.
The three additional neighborhood hospitals are:
- Blue Diamond Campus: 4855 Blue Diamond Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89139
- Sahara Campus: 4980 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89102
- West Flamingo Campus: 9880 W. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89147
All told, the hospitals are expected to bring 250 to 280 jobs to the Valley and fast emergency care in neighborhoods where residents need and deserve better access to health care.
