AMA-Houston Awards Emerus Marketer of the Year

Imagination, innovation of Emerus Marketing Team leads to AMA Award as Marketer of the Year in Health Care.

Prestigious AMA Award One of 17 Industry Awards of Excellence Marketing Team Received in 2015

HOUSTON – Aug. 3, 2015 – Every day, a growing number of communities across the nation benefit from the vision of Emerus Holdings Inc. to transform the health care experience for its patients through comprehensive, compassionate and convenient emergency treatment and critical care.

The creative talents that comprise the marketing and communications team at Emerus share the story of how its patient-centered emergency and in-patient care and diagnostic services has made it a national leader in innovative health care.

This year, the marketing team’s efforts, led by Jason Lisovicz, vice president of marketing and communications, earned numerous local, regional and national accolades for excellence in marketing, and the imagination and innovation of its marketing campaigns.

Noted professional organizations and industry professionals presented the team with 17 awards, including the prestigious Marketer of the Year in health care award from the American Marketing Association-Houston (AMA). AMA-Houston is the area’s premier professional marketing organization and is among the largest AMA chapters in North America. This award, established in 2005, recognizes exceptional marketing by Houston-area companies, organizations and institutions as determined by a judging panel of industry professionals throughout the nation.

“These awards reflect well on the mission of Emerus, which is to offer the quality of care we would expect and demand for our own families – and also on Emerus’ executive leadership, which sets the tone for everything we do,” Lisovicz said. “Last year, we opened six hospitals, and we will continue this explosive growth over the next several years.”

Entering into new markets presented the marketing team with the challenging task of maintaining values the organization was founded upon, while keeping pace with expansion, Lisovicz said.

“I am extraordinarily proud of our team’s incredible talent and passion for excellence,” he said. “Our goal is to deliver health care differently, and it wouldn’t be possible without the creative minds that make the wheels turn. We are extremely proud of our numerous achievements as an organization and look forward to many more milestones.”
