As we grow and expand across the nation, it is more important than ever that we continue to value and appreciate what makes us special – our employees who sacrifice so much in service of others.

We can best achieve this if we know how our employees feel about our company. We need an awareness and understanding of the good things we are doing to exceed expectations – and we need to identify opportunities for improvement in areas where we may be falling short of the mark.

That’s why we need your participation and honest opinions in our annual employee survey, The Check Up, which you received Oct. 17. We aspire to make Emerus the best company in the health care industry by providing fulfilling work in a trusting environment. Reaching this goal begins with you.

In completing The Check Up survey, I ask you to be completely candid in your responses so the results will reflect a true picture of your work experience. We sincerely value your opinions, and I personally will review the results.

We have hired an independent consulting firm, Great Place to Work®, to conduct the survey to ensure that your responses remain confidential. You have until Oct. 28 to complete the survey. While our goal for this year is to reach 80 percent participation, it is my hope that we receive feedback from every member of our organization.
